Heating, ventilation and air conditioning

The building’s energy efficiency is based on adequate solutions related to heating, ventilation and air conditioning.

⚙️ Heating, ventilation and air conditioning is the use of different technologies to control the temperature, humidity and air purity in a closed space. Their goal is to provide thermal comfort and acceptable indoor air quality.

⚙️ The design of these systems is a sub-discipline of mechanical engineering, based on the principles of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and heat transfer.

⚙️ They are an important part of residential structures such as family houses, apartment buildings, hotels and facilities for the elderly; medium to large industrial and commercial buildings such as skyscrapers and hospitals; vehicles such as cars, trains, planes, ships and submarines; and in marine environments, where safe and healthy building conditions are regulated in terms of temperature and humidity, using fresh air from the outside environment.

⚙️ Ventilation is the process of exchanging or replacing air in any space to provide high quality indoor air that includes temperature control, oxygen supplementation, and removal of moisture, odors, smoke, heat, dust, air, bacteria, carbon dioxide, and other gases.

⚙️ Ventilation removes unpleasant odors and excessive moisture, introduces outside air, maintains air circulation inside the building and prevents stagnation of indoor air. Building ventilation methods are divided into mechanical or forced and natural.

The design and execution of these installations must be entrusted to experts. They are the only authority for the implementation of such projects.👷
